It’s Sunday & it’s my Rest Day!! I will keep my nutrition on point today & prepare for the upcoming week. 🥗 ** It’s funny how quick we are to jump on the scale to check our progress & get discouraged after one week of making changes!! 🤷‍️ I can guess that none of us gained weight & got out of shape in just 7 days...so why do we look for a quick fix to make all right again? Get off of the scale! Especially when you have just started something NEW. Our bodies need to adjust, even to the good changes we are making. Focus on your progress in other areas: •How are you feeling? •Is your energy up? •Are you sleeping better at night? Progress is progress no matter what form it takes! I DID it! I made it through week one of my 80 day fitness and nutrition program I might be sore and tired, but I’m pretty dang proud of pushing through and making it happen this wk. My takeaways from week one: Food bloat is REAL Sugar detox is SO REAL Self care is a MUST (foam rolling, sleep, staying hydrated...) New challenges bring up new thoughts, ideas and vulnerabilities-in the best of ways Food is FUEL- I mean, I knew this...but now I know-know this Moving my body is my JAM Happy Sunday, my dudes! Looking forward to a new week and new goals! Oh, and for vacation... ️

Sometimes you just have to TRUST the process ____ Day 0-Day 7! ____ -nutrition: 95% on meal plan -workouts: 100% done -measurements: 3 inches lost (2 in waist) -weight: down 3.5 lbs -mindset: stronger & more faith in believing this is going to get me my BEST body for summer ____ I can’t believe 1/13 weeks is done! I am enjoying this program with slightly longer workouts and timed nutrition more than I thought! ____ My energy has been SO high since day 1 and even when I was slightly sick throughout the week! I know my muscles are building and feeling it, but I’d rather be sore than sorry later because I didn’t start! ____ We have about 3 months until summer weather starts and the bathing suits come out! Beautiful you I am super excited to be prepping for February...it's not about the chocolate and roses 🥀(okay may be it is). I want to celebrate women, sometimes we run ourselves so ragged, running kids to school, appointments, work, sports...and we push ourselves aside..
