Should you clean or dirty bulk?SWIPE right and look at the next picture between 2015️2016, that’s when I went from dirty to clean bulk and my results went UP⬇️! - Focus on COMPLEX carbs as brown rice, sweet potatoes, oats, fruits, vegetables Focus on QUALITY protein sources as chicken, tuna, salmon, eggs, lean steak etc Focus on HEALTHY fats as Nuts, Avocado, Omega-3, Olive oil, Etc - I wish I could understand the power of clean bulking earlier... But therefore I tell you now so you don’t have to make the same mistake as I did the first 4 years of training! Many people don’t know that food is more than just a source of protein, carbs and fat. Quality in quality out. If you want to look like an athlete you have to eat and train like an athlete. - There’s much more to be said about the benefits of clean bulking but the Instagram text is limited. Paused Deadlifts from yesterday. Set shown here is my last set of 5 with 125kg/275lbs. As anyone who has ever done them will know, not a particularly nice variation but they’re there for a reason and are an incredibly effective tool to aid in improving technical proficiency in the deadlift. That and getting in additional work without placing quite as much stress on the body as a regular deadlift may, primarily due to the lighter loading. Not sure I’d go quite as far as to say I’m a fan but they’re certainly a great movement.

WHY I'M ALWAYS LEAN - I wanted to make a video about why I'm lean year round. I don't want this to be some sort of standard. I'm just living my life with the cards I've been dealt. - My appetite sucks so I'm never in a surplus for long enough to actually make significant muscular gains. With that being said, there are others out there, maybe even you who could make more progress than me, you just have to do it! - That leads to my next topic which is that there is no standard in the fitness industry. You can only be stronger or weaker or leaner or bigger than yourself, no one else. So whilst you may think you're not as lean as someone, ignore that and think about how much leaner/bigger/stronger you are compared to a previous YOU. - Gratitude is super important. It's okay to have a goal physique in mind but keep in mind that your progress is your own and it can only be achieved if you try! - This video makes no sense but tag a friend if they could benefit
