Gullfoss is a waterfall in the South of Iceland and is part of the Golden Circle along with Geysir and Thingvellir. Its name, appropriately, means the Golden Waterfall. On a sunny day, in addition to throngs of tourists, you might catch a rainbow or two! As a tremendous testament to the power of nature, it falls 105 feet into a craggy canyon. Worth a visit for a short while but we found this was a bit too crowded for us. #chasingwaterfalls #tastetherainbow #iceland #landoffireandice #theragetolive #exploredreamdiscover #embraceadventure

Jokullsarlon glacier lagoon was a three-hour drive from our hotel, but the super-early start to catch the sunrise was so worth it.
