HOW TO WORKOUT LESS AND LOSE MORE WEIGHT . Remember when you were in your early 20s and you had all day to workout? . Well, those days are gone. . Now, you have a booming career, a family and the responsibilities of running a household. . You still want to build a body you can be proud of, but you don’t have 6 days per week to workout. . So here are 3 steps to working out less and seeing better results in terms of fat loss and muscle gain. . 1️⃣Focus on compound exercises . Stop wasting your time with endless sets of calf raises and bicep curls. . You’re not trying to look like Arnold Schwarzenegger. . Instead, focus primarily on compound lifts like squats, RDLs, pressing variations, rows and farmer’s walks. . These exercises recruit more muscle mass, so they’ll give you more bang for your buck. . 2️⃣Superset exercises from non-competing muscle groups . To save more time, superset exercises from non-competing muscle groups. . ️For example, perform RDLs (a lower body exercise) and push ups (an upper body exercise) back-to-back. Then, pair squats and rows for your next superset. . Perform 3-4 sets of 8-10 reps of each, and you’ll have arguably the four most important movement patterns done in 15-20 minutes. . 3️⃣Monitor your food intake and sleep more . When you were younger, you could eat just about anything and you would stay lean. . Now, a weekend of poor eating wreaks havoc on your gut. . So instead of working out more, focus on eating proper portions on recovering better. . That doesn’t mean starving yourself. Instead, eat 3-5 meals per day of lean protein, veggies, fruits, starchy carbs and healthy fats. . To optimize your hormones, aim for 7-8 hours of sleep per night. You’ll have so much more energy the next day and supercharge your fat loss efforts. . ️When time is of the essence, you’ve got to train smarter, not harder! . ️Double tap if you agree! .
