In my first competition with @nextfitnessmodeluk I asked the judges what I needed to improve on the most. They told me to get more width in my lats and that’s exactly what I’ve been working hard to achieve. Back and bi’s day done! Apologies for the video being so far away it was the first time I have filmed myself at the gym and didn’t realize how far away it actually looked. Started the session with some deadlifts doing a pyramid set. The video is of 2 sets 120kg for 4 reps and finally 130kg for 2 reps. Didn’t feel like form was the best at 130 so didn’t go up to 1 rep 50kg 10reps 80kg 10reps 100kg 6reps 120kg 4reps 130kg 2reps and then back down the pyramid

- Bryan finishing his Pull session with some Overhand Grip TRX Rows, focussing on controlling the movement slowly on the eccentric phase (the down part) to maintain tension on the muscle. - Harder than it looks. - Many rowing and pulling movements are often performed poorly. Lots of momentum. Lots of 'swinging'. Control the movement to target the intended muscle group. - Don't underestimate the efficacy of bodyweight exercises in your training.
