This day trip was amazing from start to finish. I have been really lucky to find such amazing, and motivated people to share experiences like this, this season. We eyes off this frozen waterfall on the way to the resort but decided to wait until we were leaving to snap a photo. It's the most colourful waterfall I have ever seen and just reminded me that you really need to get out and see different places if you want to see different things.

I've seen a lot of truly beautiful places in my life but there was something very special about a very frozen lake Muskoka. One my favourite memories of Canada the silence was just so peaceful hopefully this picture does it justice. • • • Location Lake Muskoka, Muskoka, Ontario, Canada. • • • Interesting fact Lake Muskoka is located between Port Carling and Gravenhurst, Ontario, Canada. The lake is surrounded by many cottages. The lake is primarily within the boundary of the Township of Muskoka Lakes, the southeast corner is within the boundary of the Town of Gravenhurst and another small portion around the mouth of the Muskoka River is within the boundary of the Town of Bracebridge. The town of Bala is located on the southwest shores of the lake, where the Moon Riverstarts. Lake Muskoka is connected to Lake Rosseau through the Indian River and lock system at Port Carling. The lake is mainly fed by the Muskoka River, Lake Joseph and Lake Rosseau. _______________________________________ ●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○● ●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○ #spread_your_arms_wide ●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○ ●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○ ________________________________________ • • • #muskoka #lakerosseau #ontario #canada #lakemuskoka #muskokawoods #frozen #frozenlake #winterholiday #travel #travelsolo #travelinsta #instadaily #travelcanada #holiday #vacation #spreadyourarmswide #armswide #titanicpose #freedompose #syaw #wanderlust

Traversing the Taynton bowl ridgeline made finding soft snow and fun terrain super easy. It's a hike only area, but you can ride most of it on your snowboard and never really have to climb too much. I'd love to explore this place with lots of fresh snow.

Panorama was copping a very sweet inversion. -10 at the bottom and a tropical 0 at the top.

The squad decided to get out of the lake and check out Panorama. Getting a group shot was probably the hardest part of the day. I'll post another few photos from this day because it was so sick.

I went to Killaly. No one likes January rain. However, this particular rain cloud lit up the golden hour sunset like I've never seen before. Even my hand in front of my face was yellow. Behind me was a rainbow to top it off. I had to stop and stand in the rain to take a quick photo of one of the coolest natural outdoor lights I'd ever seen.
